An open drum 240V volt cable reel with a heavy-duty plastic drum on a sturdy steel frame with an integral carry handle and rotating winding knob, which is popular with both trade and DIY users. The drums design helps ensure that the cable is protected while in storage or transit but also safe while in use, using a thermal overload protection system to prevent overheating damaging the cable. The cable reel features two shuttered plug sockets and a BS approved plug. A flat frame base keeps the reel upright for easy storage and protects the sockets from contact with wet or damp areas.
