The battery has a compact, lightweight design and is similar in both size and weight to the existing 18V 5Ah and 6Ah batteries. It also features a 4-stage battery level indicator with a diagnostic function.

Compatible with the existing range of Hitachi 18V slide battery tools and the new range of 36V Multi Volt tools. Compatible with existing 18V chargers and the new UC36YSL.
