The Irwin HSS Pro Drillbits are made from high performance, high speed steel. They have an 118° split point shape for increased performance and very good centring. The drillbits ensure precision starting, with no need to pre-punch or pilot drill. They penetrate the material quickly, requiring little effort and feed pressure.

The drillbits have a polished silver finish and are manufactured to DIN 338 standards. DIN 338 drillbits are suitable for many trade and industrial applications in alloyed and un-alloyed steel, non-ferrous metal, cast iron and plastics.
