The Metabo BHA 18LXT Cordless SDS+ Hammer has sheathed, die cast aluminium gear housing and features Variospeed electronics. It is able to rotate clockwise and anti-clockwise. It is comfortable to work with thanks to the rubber coating on all handle surfaces and the hammer's trigger button and has a Metabo VibraTech (MVT) handle, which dampens vibration and is rotatable by 360°. The hammer drill has a favourable centre of gravity position and comes complete with a carrying belt for easy transportation. For safety, it features a hammer stop, and an automatic torque limiting clutch.

The BHA 18LXT Cordless SDS Hammer is suitable for bits and accessories with SDS-plus shank end. With the appropriate accessories, it is also suitable for bits and accessories with cylindrical shank end (no impact).
