It has a soft start powerful universal motor, Vario-Constamatic (VC) full-wave electronics for infinitely variable speed change and under load the speed remains almost constant.

It has the Metabo 'Quick' saw blade change without key, integrated cutting depth control and lateral handles.

The sliding function allows for wide work pieces, ideal for simple cutting of all angular, bevel and rafter cuts, sawing wood, coated panels and plastics and is also suitable for sawing non-ferrous metals.
