The Metabo MHE 5 SDS Max Demolition Hammer has a thumb wheel for pre selection of the speed and impact rate. With electronic soft start for smooth start-up. Its low weight, die cast magnesium gear housing allows for optimum heat dissipation. Fitted with a lockable switch for comfortable chiselling in continuous operation. The adjustable front handle can be rotated 360° and the angle adjusted for an optimum working position.

Metabos' VibraTech (MVT) system comprises of an integrated damping system and side handle, that help to reduce vibrations in order to protect the user's health. The Vario-Tacho-Constamatic (VTC) system provides full wave electronics that allow for more sensitive work to be carried out, such as materials that require customised speeds whilst remaining constant under load. Includes a service display light that indicates when the carbon brushes need to be replaced, and an LED indicating mains voltage.
